This is the third release on Regent from this acclaimed US chamber choir, and it's a most unusual collection of Christmas fayre! New carols commissioned by the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus by composers from Europe, USA and Russia, including works by British composers Sasha Johnson Manning (composer of The Manchester Carols) and David Bednall, interspersed with American carols well-known to the the UK listener, sung to their original American tunes.
Most of the works are new to the catalogue.
