Once again, Guild looks to the composing genius of Victor Young to launch a collection of tuneful orchestral cameos – the first such occasion was his piece 'Travellin’ Light' (GLCD 5114). This time the spotlight falls on Stringin’ Along which reminds us that Victor Young was a musician of many talents, indeed he excelled as a violinist, arranger, film composer, songwriter, conductor and record producer.
