They spotlight poetic and virtuosic pieces by Schubert, Fröhlich, and Moscheles - works of great emotional and historical depth.

The programme opens with Schubert's Divertissement, D823, where French elegance meets Romantic expressiveness, followed by the sparkling Polonaise, D599/4. Fröhlich's Three Fugues, op.12, blend Bachian counterpoint with Romantic intensity, while Moscheles' rarely heard Grande Sonate symphonique, op.112, closes the album with symphonic breadth and drama.
