He brings together the monumental Third Sonata, whose Andante draw from the verses of Sternau (Twilight is falling, moonlight shines, there two hearts are united in love and keep themselves enclosed in bliss), and a selection of lieder transcribed for solo piano by Max Reger with exquisite refinement.
