Composer Marcus Paus has set to music the poetry of his father, the beloved singer-songwriter and poet Ole Paus. The work is performed by renowned mezzo-soprano Tora Augestad, in collaboration with NyNorsk Messingkvintett.
Ingenting forsvinner is a musical reflection on the transience of life and the power of memory. With a distinctive blend of melodic depth and lyrical gravity, the work touches on existential themes in a way that is both moving and timeless. Marcus Paus's signature musical language – marked by modern harmonies and lyrical lines – provides a compelling foundation for Ole Paus's poetic universe.
