Trio PantoumAbout
Thus, for their recording debut, they are showcasing a variety of influences, pairing their favorite piece with those of a somewhat forgotten Russian Romantic composer and one of the emerging figures in Czech music.
Founded in 2016 at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, Trio Pantoum has established itself in Europe and beyond as one of today’s leading chamber ensembles, achieving international recognition in just a few years.
Hugo Meder (violin), Bo-Geun Park (cello) and Kojiro Okada (piano) have already won several major international awards (ARD Munich, Trieste, Joseph Haydn in Vienna, Osaka, Melbourne, Lyon) and have been acclaimed in major concert halls on three continents (France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, England, Norway, Germany, Austria, Japan and Australia). They are constantly opening up new horizons for their musical development by having new works dedicated to them and working with composers.
Hugo plays a 1760 violin by Carlo Ferdinand Landolfi, graciously on loan from El Pacito.
The trio is sponsored by La Foundation Banque Populaire and La Foundation Safran.
