On this CD, ALA AUREA follows the letters of Hildegard with unique interpretations of her music. ALA AUREA is comprised of Maria Jonas and Susanne Ansorg, who create arrangements of medieval music for voice, fiddle, tambura, shruti box and glockenspiel. They are joined in this recording by colleagues Bassem Hawar (djoze), Philipp Lambrecht (bells), Sebastiaan Pank (soprano saxophone) and Ars Choralis Coeln.
