About
She was a soloist of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Warsaw Operetta, the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera and the Theatre in St Gallen; she performed in almost all European and North American countries.
The album features recordings of opera arias with the participation of Warsaw orchestras, as well as song performances with the accompaniment of pianist Barbara Ropelewska, of whom the soprano was very fond of and was friends with.
The CD includes famous arias and songs, mainly by Polish composers, including Moniuszko, Szymanowski, Różycki and Chopin, as well as arias from the staple repertoire of world operatic and operetta stages.
Regardless of the era, genre and nature of the presented works, the artist's interpretations are distinguished by extraordinary musicality, precision and excellent vocal technique.
The album is a symbolic return of the diva to Poland, a gift for lovers of her talent who remember the artist's live performances, as well as for those who have a chance to get to know her thanks to recordings.
