Dekoor Close HarmonyAbout
The Dutch Choir Dekoor Close Harmony is the winner of numerous international competitions and is one of the most famous choirs in the Netherlands.
Throughout the eleven songs on this program - some newly composed, some cover versions, the listener will discover the incredible vocal energy that has earned this young singing troupe such renown. Dekoor lights up in songs like We Are Young and A Night in Tunisia, in Gospel choruses or well-known rock songs, delivering the vocal fireworks with colour and rhythmic richness. These are NEW sounds that will fascinate you, full of intensity and perfect in execution.
This CD is being released as part of a new series called 'The Choir Project'. Featured as part of the Hänssler Classic catalogue, this new series will showcase the world's best amateur choirs and become a platform as versatile and powerful as the histories and cultures of the choirs and vocal ensembles themselves, while presenting a wide-ranging repertoire from baroque to pop.
