Here the guitar plays the upper of the two organ keyboards while the harpsichord assumes the role of the second keyboard (right hand) and the pedal (left hand). Albert plays here on a harpsichord made by Tom and Barbara Wolf - the nearest thing we have yet had to the sound of the German harpsichords of Bach’s time."

He is also celebrated for his willingness to take art music into unusual venues (schools, senior centres, and even logging camps and prisons!). After 45 years before the public, he remains - as his mentor Andres Segovia once wrote - "at the top line of our artistic world".

Albert Fuller (July 21, 1926 – September 22, 2007) was an American harpsichordist, conductor, teacher, impresario and prominent proponent of early music. He was the first artist to record the complete keyboard works of Jean-Philippe Rameau.
