Ludwig Guttler and his brass ensemble are always on tour prior to Christmas, bringing the festive spirit to churches and people's hearts throughout Germany. The idea of a live CD seemed a logical one and has now been implemented. Concerts were recorded in four churches: in the Marienkirche in Pirna, the Frauenkirche in Dresden, the Thomaskirche in Erfurt and St Sylvestri in Wernigerode.

From the music recorded an ideal selection was made: a good hour's worth of atmospheric music featuring splendid excerpts from well-known and well-loved songs. Ludwig Guttler and his brass ensemble display all the facets of their wide-ranging sound, providing something for all tastes among specialists and lovers of brass music.

This is an absolute must, not just for Guttler fans!
