Well established as one of the leading flute soloists of our time, Robert Aitken is noted for his outstanding interpretations of classical repertoire and extraordinary insight into contemporary music.
The recordings on this new release from Doremi show his technical skill on works by J S and CPE Bach. The Sonatas were recorded in 1979, the Partita in 1969, whilst the concerto with John Eliot Gardner was a live performance recorded in 1981.
