The intention of Voces Intimae is to restore this music to its original transparency, making evident the original intentions of the composers through sound and phrasing. The choice of name, Voces Intimae, confirms the group’s aim to enhance the more subtle aspects of the repertoire, favouring subtle undertones, the understated and veins of melancholy, which are often overlooked.

Voces Intimae has appeared in such prestigious venues as the Wigmore Hall and St John’s Smith Square in London, Library of Congress of Washington D.C., Frick Collection of New York, Da Camera Society of Los Angeles, the Festival Classique in The Hague, Amici della Musica of Florence, Unione Musicale of Turin and Bologna Festival.

These recordings of the piano trios of Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy were formerly available from the Symphonia label.
